Cornelius Krellner from Frankfurt/Main

• 1999 – 2004: Studies of Physics, TU Dresden (Germany) and ETH Zurich (Switzerland)
• 2009: Dissertation in Physics, TU Dresden, honoured with the Otto-Hahn Medal of the Max-Planck-Society
• 2005 – 2011: Postgraduate and Research Associate, Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, Dresden
• 2011 – 2012: Research Associate, University of Cambridge (United Kingdom)
• Since 2012: Full Professor (W3) for Experimental Physics at Goethe-University Frankfurt/Main, Head of the “Crystal and Materials Laboratory”
• The research focus of his group is on crystal growth and material development of strongly correlated electron systems with strong emphasis on intermetallic materials.
